Here, the dimension of the Elf, the free spirit that lives on intuition, wonder and creative spontaneity, manifests itself through the flowering itself: an exuberance that rejects any pre-established order and celebrates the joy of possibility. Peonies - recognisable by their layered, broad and fleshy corollas - are the main vocabulary of the work. Historically associated with prosperity, rebirth and generative power, here they take on the role of a mental landscape, an inner space that takes shape through mosaic weaving. The composition suggests an idea of total flowering. The figure does not simply wear the flowers: they are part of her and constitute her essence, as if thought itself were manifested in petals and colours. The chromatic variety, oscillating between intense reds, ochre, opalescent pinks and unexpected touches of sky blue, is orchestrated with a precision that allows the tesserae to behave like luminous brushstrokes. The glasses, a distinctive element of the entire collection, amplify the feeling of suspension: the mirrored lenses cancel out the possibility of capturing an expression, transforming the figure into a contemporary simulacrum, a face that only reflects what it receives. Finally, the golden fabric wrapped around the neck introduces a further visual metamorphosis, radiating light like an ever expanding internal energy. Qui la dimensione del Folletto, lo spirito libero che vive di intuizioni, meraviglia e spontaneità creativa, si manifesta attraverso la fioritura stessa: un’esuberanza che rifiuta ogni ordine prestabilito e celebra la gioia del possibile. Le peonie - riconoscibili nelle loro corolle stratificate, ampie e carnose - sono il vocabolario principale dell’opera. Storicamente associate alla prosperità, alla rinascita e alla potenza generativa, qui assumono il ruolo di un paesaggio mentale, uno spazio interiore che prende forma attraverso la tessitura musiva.
